Root Canals

A root canal, or endodontics, is the removal of the nerve and blood supply from the roots of the teeth. Root canal therapy is used when the nerve or pulp of the tooth has become compromised by decay, fracture, or trauma. This is done to eliminate any pain and infection, in order to save the tooth from extraction.
